How to Follow Me on LinkedIn

I've reached LinkedIn's 30,000 connection limit — but you can still follow my profile to see all my posts and updates.

Why Follow?

The connection limit explained

LinkedIn allows members to have a maximum of 30,000 first-degree connections. Once that limit is reached, no new connection requests can be accepted.

The good news? Following works just as well. When you follow someone on LinkedIn, their posts and articles appear in your feed exactly the same way as with a connection - you just won't be able to send direct messages without InMail.

Step by Step

How to follow my profile

01

Visit my LinkedIn profile

Go to my profile directly using the button below, or search for "Jan Tegze" on LinkedIn.

02

Click the "Follow" button

You'll see a Follow button on my profile. If it's not immediately visible, click the "More" button in the introduction section and select "Follow" from the dropdown menu.

03

Turn on notifications (optional)

Click the bell icon next to the Follow button to get notified whenever I publish a new post. This way you won't rely on LinkedIn's algorithm to show my content.

Pro Tip

Understanding the bell icon

Dark grey bell

Notifications for all new posts. You'll be notified every time I publish something.

White bell with outline

Notifications for top posts only. LinkedIn decides which of my posts are worth notifying you about.

I recommend enabling notifications for all posts so you don't miss anything - LinkedIn's algorithm doesn't always surface content to every follower.

Changed your mind?

To unfollow, visit my profile, click "More" in the introduction section, and select "Unfollow" from the dropdown. No hard feelings!
