Getting LinkedIn post data is harder than it should be
If you need LinkedIn post data - to track your own performance, benchmark a competitor, or study a company's voice - you have three bad options:
Copy-paste by hand. Slow, error-prone, and LinkedIn's "3w ago" timestamps and "1,024" abbreviated counts make it worse.
Cloud scraping services. They demand your LinkedIn login or session cookie, run crawlers from remote servers, and store your data on their infrastructure.
Give up. Most people just don't get the data.

A note on responsible use
LinkedIn's User Agreement does not permit automated data collection. PostPackr minimizes risk by working slowly, locally, and only on data you can already see, and it never touches comment content, commenter identities, or private data - but LinkedIn may still restrict accounts that automate activity. Use it thoughtfully and at your own discretion. Exported data may contain personal information; you are responsible for using it lawfully.

Frequently asked questions
Does PostPackr need my LinkedIn password?
No. It never asks for credentials or cookies. It only reads posts already rendered in your own logged-in tab.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. All export files are built locally by your browser. The only outbound requests are the one-time Gumroad license check when you activate Lifetime, and Lifetime image downloads that come directly from LinkedIn's own media CDN.
Does it capture comments?
It captures the number of comments, never the comment text or commenter identities.
Which browsers are supported?
Chrome and Edge (Chromium), version 114 or newer.
How do I activate Lifetime?
Buy on Gumroad, paste the license key into Settings -> Lifetime license -> Activate. That's it - no account to create. One license works on two devices.
